SXSW Sketchnotes on Evernote

logo-open-50.gifYesterday made my Evernote SXSW Sketchnotes notebook public and searchable, following a friendly Twitter request from the Evernote team.

This Evernote notebook of sketchnotes is a great example of how well Evernote's server-based scanning and character recognition works on hand-drawn text.

Give it a try!

Great to see your awesome notes on Evernote Mike! I've been using Evernote for sometime now, it's great - integrates desktop, browser and iPhone very well. Thx.

Reiner, I'm liking Evernote very much though I feel without the Mac desktop I am missing some things. I need to install Leopard one of these days, so I can try out the Evernote Mac app! :-)

I have tried the iPhone/iPod touch UI and it's nice to have available. I'm very curious to see if they will develop a native Cocoa Touch app for iPhone/iPod touch.

One thing that's still missing is PDF integration, though I've heard from the Evernote team that PDF is on the list for addition. I think that would be pretty key for many others once they can handle PDFs, then I think Evernote can better compete with other info management tools out there.
